The Learning and Development Facilitator role at Avery Healthcare focuses on driving performance and quality within their care homes through the delivery of quality assured training to the team. The successful candidate will ensure that Avery has a competent and compliant team to deliver exceptional care to their residents.

Main duties of the job

As a Learning and Development Facilitator, your responsibilities will include leading training sessions for a cluster of homes, focusing on statutory and mandatory topics, identifying learning needs, planning and designing engaging learning courses and content, facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses, and assessing learner knowledge, confidence, and understanding throughout the training.

  • The ideal candidate must have experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector, experience in adult social care and related qualifications, knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements, a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it) and a Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care (or similar).
