Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a Teaching and Learning Coach Level 5 to support apprentices with tailored teaching, coaching and assessment. You will manage a caseload, monitor progress, deliver Functional Skills and industry training, and ensure achievement within timescales.

Although primarily home-based, you will travel across our South West and Midlands services to deliver in-person training and build strong relationships with learners and employers.

Qualifications

• A Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or a related subject.
• English and Maths at Level 2 (or equivalent).
• Assessor qualification (A1 Level 3, TAQA or equivalent).
• Experience delivering apprenticeships within Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching, coaching and assessment to apprentices.
• Manage a caseload of learners and monitor progress toward qualifications.
• Provide information, advice and guidance and ensure timely achievement of qualifications.
• Support employer engagement and act as a champion for safeguarding and inclusive learning.

About the Role

We're looking for a Teaching and Learning Coach Level 5 to support and inspire apprentices throughout their learning journey. You'll manage a caseload of learners, delivering high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment tailored to individual needs to help apprentices develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required within their apprenticeship standard.

Working closely with apprentices and employers, you'll monitor progress, deliver Functional Skills and sector-specific training, provide information, advice and guidance, and ensure learners achieve their qualifications within agreed timescales. You'll also support employer engagement, contribute to wider Learning & Development activities across Agincare, and champion safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive learning at every stage.

While this role is primarily home-based, you'll enjoy travelling across our South West and Midlands services to deliver in-person training and assessments, building strong relationships with our teams.

About You

We're looking for a passionate and organised learning professional with:

• A Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or a related subject
• English and Maths at Level 2 (or equivalent)
• An Assessor qualification (A1 Level 3, TAQA or equivalent)
• Experience delivering apprenticeships within Health & Social Care
• Strong coaching, communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding, learner wellbeing and inclusive education
• The ability to manage a caseload and build positive relationships with learners and employers
• A proactive approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
