About us

Scotsman Group is a collection of over 50 venues. Many of our venues are housed in listed buildings, carefully restored, expanded, refreshed and put to good use. We have restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, bars, cinemas, student accommodation and more. One thing all our places have in common is our people - they work hard, often behind the scenes, and they are the best at what they do. They are a wildly eclectic bunch, from the architect who makes the drawings come to life, to the domestic team who make our hotel rooms feel like home. We are always growing and on the lookout for fresh talent, so if you've got it, bring it.

What we stand for

Our values aren't rules or guidelines the people who work for us need to stick to; they are the catalyst for an unwritten work ethic. The values never change, so no matter where you work or what you do, pin these up in your head and glance at them often!

At the heart of all we do we must put our guests’ needs first.
  1. We put the guest first

Without our guests, we are nothing. They must be at the centre of every decision we make.

  1. We make our jobs our own

Our success relies on people being entrepreneurial and taking ownership of their role.

  1. We work together

Treat your colleagues like family. Support and respect each other, giving encouragement and taking guidance.

  1. Work hard

Strive to stand out from the crowd and enjoy being the best at what you do. It’s not just a job; it is an opportunity.

  1. We grow

Creating profit and growth is key to what we do. We shouldn’t shy away from this. All decisions must be made with commercial principles in mind.
