A leading global financial services firm seeks a dynamic Learning & Development and DEI specialist for a 12-month maternity cover contract. The role includes delivering L&D programmes, managing DEI initiatives, and collaborating with various stakeholders across London, New York, and Singapore. The ideal candidate must be experienced in programme design, thrive in fast-paced environments, and demonstrate strong communication and commercial awareness.
Oakleaf is partnering with a leading global financial services firm, home to around 300 employees, to appoint a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development and DEI specialist for a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This is a varied, strategic, and delivery-focused role, split roughly 70% L&D and 30% DEI. You’ll be instrumental in developing talent and leadership capabilities across the firm-designing and rolling out learning strategies that support their growth, culture, and future skills needs. You’ll also lead the firm’s DEI agenda, partnering closely with the DEI Committee to build momentum and data-led progress in a relatively greenfield space.
They’re looking for someone commercially savvy, adaptable, and confident working across everything from high-level L&D design to logistical execution. You’ll need to be equally comfortable booking meetings or prepping for offsites as you are designing global leadership programmes or driving their MBA and summer intern development initiatives across London, New York, and Singapore.
You’ll be the key L&D/DEI voice in the firm-trusted to take ownership, shape delivery, and support a mix of ongoing and new initiatives. It’s a broad remit and no two days are the same, so someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile, and global environment will do well here.
