The Learning Advisor serves in a content oversight and content development role in support of Learning Solutions pharmaceutical customers. This individual is accountable for implementing solutions designed by the Solution Design (BD) team. They serve as the Learning Strategist on project teams, interacting with the customer, assessing customers’ needs and aligning on the approach and providing direction to full time and/or contractor writers, assuming writing tasks as needed.

This role reflects the dual focus on both customer relationship management and project execution, with a possible addition to enhance business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees development and/or creates engaging and effective training content that can be delivered via multiple modalities (e.g., distance-learning e-modules, e-zines, live training, communication and sustainability tools)
  • Oversees or develops live training logistical and preparation support, including scheduling assistance, printing guides, and facilities requirements
  • Works closely with Business Development to provide recommendations for future opportunities throughout the project
  • Assists in developing and maintaining role-specific (e.g., Leadership Development initiatives, Account Manager Training, Medical Sales Liaison Training, Nurse Educators) training programs/curricula
  • As required, serves as a facilitator and/or conducts facilitator training for all developed content
  • Previous training experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech healthcare industry is essential
  • High-level of PowerPoint and writing skills in consulting or training with an understanding of instructional design
  • Strong communication and organizational skills: ability to convey information clearly and effectively to both customers and team members; capable of managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Customer Focused: Dedicated to meeting customer needs and exceeding their expectations
  • Ability to travel 10% (domestic travel to client sites and office)
