Job Description

My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds more in our training programme. Due to increased demand from record numbers of learner drivers and test centre backlogs caused by COVID-19, our driving instructors have seen their hourly rates increase by an average of £3 over the past 12 months. Many instructors have waiting lists of up to 6 months, making now an excellent time to consider a career as a driving instructor.

Are you reliable, punctual, patient, and possess good customer service skills? Do you enjoy working with new people? If you answered yes, then this could be the career for you. We welcome applicants from various industries, including:

1. Driving industry (HGV driver, delivery driver, van driver, LGV driver, bus driver)
2. Finance industry (finance manager, accountant, analyst, supervisor, director)
3. IT industry (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering, development)
4. Health industry (care assistant, nurse, doctor, care manager, trainer)
5. Education industry (teacher, teaching assistant, admin officer, lecturer)

Full training is provided, conducted locally where possible. Our pass rates are well above the industry average, and we offer a refund of all training fees when you work with us.

To qualify as a Driving Instructor, you must:

1. Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years
2. Not have been banned from driving in the last 4 years
3. Have no more than 6 points on your licence
