Job Description

My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds in our training programme who will be hitting the roads shortly. Due to COVID-19 backlogs at test centres, there is currently a record number of learner drivers needing instruction. Over the past 12 months, our driving instructors' hourly rates have increased by an average of £3 due to high demand. Additionally, over 70% of our instructors have waiting lists, some as long as six months. This is an excellent time to consider a career as a driving instructor.

Are you reliable, punctual, patient, and possess good customer service skills? Do you enjoy working with new people? If yes, this could be the right career for you. We have recruited individuals from various industries, including:

• Driving industry (HGV, delivery, van, LGV, bus drivers)
• Finance industry (managers, accountants, analysts, supervisors, directors)
• IT industry (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering, development)
• Health industry (care assistants, nurses, doctors)
• Education industry (teachers, teaching assistants, admin staff, lecturers)

Full training is provided, conducted as locally as possible. Our pass rates are well above the industry average, and we refund all training fees when you work with us.

To qualify as a Driving Instructor, you must:

1. Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years
2. Not have been banned from driving in the last 4 years
3. Have no more than 6 points on your licence
