Job Description

My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds more in our training programme who will be hitting the roads shortly. There is currently a record number of learner drivers needing teaching due to test centre backlogs caused by COVID-19. In the last 12 months, our Driving Instructors' hourly rates have increased on average by £3 due to high demand. Additionally, over 70% of our Driving Instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. This is an excellent time to consider becoming a driving instructor.

Are you reliable, punctual, patient, and possess good customer service skills? Do you enjoy working with new people? If you answered yes to these questions, becoming a Driving Instructor could be the right career move for you. We have recruited individuals from various industries, including:

• Driving industry (HGV driver, delivery driver, van driver, LGV driver, bus driver)
• Finance industry (finance manager, accountant, analyst, supervisor, director)
• IT industry (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering, development)
• Health industry (care assistant, care manager, trainers, doctors, nurses)
• Education industry (teacher, teaching assistant, admin officer, personal assistant, lecturer)

Full training is provided, conducted as locally as possible. Our pass rates are well above the industry average, and we also refund all training fees when you work with us.

To qualify as a Driving Instructor, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Hold a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years
2. Not have been banned from driving in the last 4 years
3. Have no more than 6 points on your licence
