A leading professional services firm in the UK is looking for talented individuals to join their Audit team. You will engage in examining the financial positions of major organizations, enhancing the quality of audits through technology. The role offers a hybrid working model and continuous training, fostering a supportive team culture focused on well-being and diversity.
Learn business skills in a supportive team. Audit is the largest of our UK practices. Audit involves examining organisations to ensure their published accounts provide a true and fair view of their financial position and results. The work we do helps businesses and communities, supports trustworthy reporting, and contributes to sustainable operations.
From the start, you’ll work on complex projects at the heart of the world of business. We audit some of the world’s biggest companies, including large retailers, UK banks, and multinational organisations, who rely on us for independent insight, challenge, and high-quality audit expertise. We’re committed to building sustainable organisations from an ESG perspective, and you’ll be supported as part of the KPMG community.
Curious, resilient and agile individuals thrive here, working alongside some of the brightest minds in Audit. Our people are persistent, resilient, and inquisitive—questioning assumptions and delivering deep insights to achieve quality results.
We strive to deliver robust outcomes by upholding the highest standards. You’ll play a key part in ongoing improvements to audit quality. We invest in tech-enabled solutions, including KPMG Clara, a global collaboration and analytics tool designed to improve consistency and collaborative working. You’ll also benefit from thorough ongoing internal and external training, with many programmes including study for the ACA professional qualification. You’ll finish the programme with valuable technical skills, broad commercial understanding, and knowledge of one or more industry sectors.
The role of technology in audit is central as organisations embrace technology rapidly. Our Technology Audit team evaluates IT systems underpinning financial processes, assesses control risks across IT processes (including code and configuration of systems, financial and operational applications, technology infrastructure and projects), and understands the client’s cyber security landscape. You’ll work with our Financial Audit colleagues as one team to continuously improve audit quality.
Our hybrid working model balances home flexibility with collaboration in offices or at client sites. You’ll be trusted to be where our clients need you to be, with client-facing work in person as needed. Some travel is likely for audit work, and there will be busy periods seasonally.
Join us to undertake challenging and rewarding work with support from the KPMG community. There’s a real sense of team across Audit—we care about wellbeing and value diverse perspectives and ideas that contribute to our vision of being the most trusted professional services firm delivering high-quality audits.
