Job summary

Kohler Mira Ltd. in Cheltenham is seeking a motivated Supply Chain Engineer to join the team. You will help keep the supply chain running smoothly, ensuring the right parts are in the right place at the right time and contribute to PFEP maintenance and packaging reviews.

You will work with the Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement teams, applying Lean methods to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support production needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in supply chain engineering and PFEP.
• Experience with material flow and lean principles (5S, Visual Management, Kaizen).
• Ability to analyze data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Knowledge of SAP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist improvements to material flow and logistics within the facility.
• Support Lean tools to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure parts and materials availability aligns with production needs.
• Maintain PFEP plans and update related docs.
• Review packaging and collaborate with stakeholders for efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot material flow issues to prevent shortages.
• Support layout and material handling improvements under guidance.
• Organize storage and replenishment systems like Kanban and supermarket delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities to reduce waste.
• Support strategic projects for material supply from supplier to customer.
