Job summary

Vectis Recruitment seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer for a sector-leading manufacturer to drive improvements across the business and support the ongoing development of processes and performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a process improvement role within a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment, and will work closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager to identify opportunities, implement changes and monitor impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement techniques.
• Six Sigma training preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple improvement activities.
• A proactive approach and the confidence to challenge existing processes constructively

Responsibilities

• Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities across the business.
• Analyse processes and performance data to identify waste, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and implement process improvements.
• Monitor the effectiveness of improvements and report on results.
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.
