Job summary

Vectis Recruitment is recruiting a Continuous Improvement Engineer for a sector-leading UK manufacturer. You will identify and implement opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency and productivity, partnering with the Continuous Improvement Manager to drive process development and performance.

You will analyse processes, support Lean manufacturing initiatives, assist with root-cause analysis and implement measurable improvements across production and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement techniques.
• Six Sigma training preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities across the business.
• Analyse processes and performance data to identify waste, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and implement process improvements.
• Monitor the effectiveness of improvements and report on results.
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.
