Job Description:

We are seeking a Lean Portfolio Governance Manager to prioritise projects, programmes, and rollouts across the CTO in line with strategy, risk, compliance, and other key factors. Using Lean Portfolio Management principles, you will govern performance reviews of priority projects, manage escalations, and actively maintain a Universal Priority List.

This role involves extending analysis to include specific benefits, weighting, and customer impact metrics. You will also collaborate closely with Capital Finance on Capital Challenge discussions to ensure prioritisation is integral to decision-making. If you are skilled in strategic project management and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

The must haves
  • Project Management experience – including understanding of key aspects of baselining and change management, risk and issue management, dependencies.
  • Lean Portfolio Management experience
  • Experience in the use of Clarity, Jira and/or other project tools.
  • Analytical skills and ability to gauge strategic priorities.
  • Confident in using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of data and project recording tools
The other stuff we are looking for
  • Governance management and the ability to agree actions.
  • Strong awareness of strategic and other drivers influencing corporate / delivery priority.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills,
  • Understanding of relevant project types e.g. lifecycle, upgrades, software release.
  • Experience with a dashboarding or visualisation tool, such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc
  • Understanding of industry terms and their use: DOCSIS, IP & Optical networks
