Job summary

LSUK is seeking a Manufacturing Shift Manager to lead a multi-shift production team within a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will drive productivity, manage KPI delivery, and implement lean initiatives while coaching supervisors and developing shop floor talent.

You will ensure safety compliance, report on performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations and continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Manufacturing/Production Shift Manager or similar position.
• At least 5 years’ experience working with a Warehouse / Production / Distribution Management System.
• At least 5 years’ warehouse experience in a fast paced, high volume environment.
• Preferred: Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree and Six Sigma/Lean certification.
• Essential: GCSE Maths, English, science.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations to meet KPI targets in production, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Lead daily Team Leader and Supervisor meetings and ensure effective communications.
• Drive lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance across sites.
• Develop staff through training, mentoring and succession planning.
