Alignerr is seeking Formal Verification Scientists to translate advanced mathematical arguments into machine-verifiable Lean 4 proofs. You will work at the frontier of what proof assistants can express and automate, shaping how AI understands formal reasoning.
This fully remote, hourly contract invites mathematicians who love rigorous proof construction to tackle dense, elegant arguments and express them in machine-checkable form. Flexible hours and collaboration with researchers are included.
Competenze
- Master's degree or higher in maths or CS theory.
- Experience with Lean, Coq, Isabelle/HOL, or similar proof systems.
- Ability to translate informal proofs into machine-verifiable Lean 4 proofs.
Mansioni
- Translate informal proofs into Lean 4 formalizations.
- Analyze proofs to identify gaps and formalizable sub-structures.
- Push limits of proof assistants and automate where possible.
- Write readable, reproducible Lean scripts.
- Collaborate to improve verification pipelines.
- Guide proof decomposition and lemma selection.
- Explain why automated provers fail and document reasons.
- Create Lean proofs revealing deeper patterns.
