Job Description:

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in a modern 24-hour Veterinary Hospital located in the beautiful town of Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. The hospital is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital x-ray, ECG, ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopy, bronchoscope, multiparameter monitor, and laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgery capabilities.

As a qualified MRCVS, you will have experience gained in small animal practice and be confident in clinical examination and surgery, working both independently and as part of a wider team. Sharing our values of being trustworthy, caring, and progressive, you will have the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with colleagues, and displaying good communication skills.

The role will involve supporting 10 FTE vets, including certificate holders and those working towards certification. You will be fully supported within your role by a team of 14 Dip AVN’s/RVN’s/SVN’s and support staff. There is a dedicated Client Care Assistant team at the hospital, so no reception duties will be required within your role.

We offer a competitive salary package up to £65,000, depending on experience, which includes 5 weeks’ annual leave, 4 weeks’ paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service), enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay, £1,500 CPD Allowance plus 3 days CPD leave (FTE), RCVS, BVA, and VDS fees paid, a vehicle allowance or Company Vehicle, accommodation allowance, access to Wellbeing support and EAP program, and access to a wide range of discounts for days out, high street, and holidays.

In addition, we provide 100% attendance bonus schemes and 1 day ‘Pet’ernity Leave. We also offer relocation allowances should you move more than 50 miles from your current home address.
