Department: United Utilities

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Acel House

Reporting To: Michael Cresswell

Compensation: £32,000 / year

Description

We have roles available across the United Utilities area, i.e. Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria.

Responsibilities

• Achieve DMA exit levels
• Interact with UU and dig team agents
• Have a good understanding of reading a DMA map
• Interact with customers and explain any procedures needed to complete work on private land
• Demonstrate good timekeeping and good housekeeping with tools and equipment
• Use GARD (smartphone system) to deliver all feedback for commercial and, where necessary, reinstatement feedback

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Applicants should have experience in leakage detection and be competent in the following:

• Conventional sounding
• Leak noise correlation
• Ground microphone
• CAT and generator
• Customer liaison
• A valid EUSR water hygiene certificate and unit 2 sign, lighting and guarding accreditation will also be an advantage
