FJA is working with a large water utilities company recruiting experienced Leakage Technicians responsible for leak detection activities.

Leakage Technicians must be proficient with equipment such as correlators, pipe tracers, ground microphones, and listening sticks. Experience in Step Testing, Trunk Mains, Validation, and Seepage is desirable but not essential.

Rates of pay are excellent!

Main responsibilities include:

• Undertaking survey and project work related to leak detection.
• Assisting repair teams with leak detection.
• Conducting detailed surveys to locate water leaks on large pipes.
• Completing paperwork accurately, including timesheets and survey forms.
• Performing Step Tests to identify high leakage zones, usually at night to minimize disruption.

Certifications that are advantageous but not essential include:

• EUSR Water Hygiene Training
• Unit 2 Street Works
