Job summary

Finlay Jude Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Leakage Technician to work on leak detection projects within the water sector in Rhyl, Wales. You will operate specialist gear to locate leaks and support repair teams with accurate data, while completing time sheets and survey forms.

Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence and have leakage detection experience in water utility environments. Some roles may involve day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven leakage detection experience in the water industry.
• EUSR Water Hygiene qualification.
• Unit 2 Street Works qualification.
• Desirable: Step Testing, Trunk Mains, Validation and Seepage experience.

Responsibilities

• Detect and locate leaks using specialist equipment (Correlator, Pipe Tracer, Ground Microphone, Listening Stick).
• Assist repair teams by providing accurate leak detection data.

Leakage Technician Essential Requirements

• Experience in Step Testing, Trunk Mains, Validation, and Seepage (desirable but not essential).
