Qualifications

RPS is seeking Leakage Technicians, both experienced and inexperienced, for our Scottish Water contract. Technicians will be expected to conduct detailed investigations of clean water networks to identify leakage and unaccounted-for consumption, helping to achieve the client’s targets. This role offers a great opportunity to develop skills and gain experience with one of the UK’s leading Environmental Consultancies.

What you’ll be doing
  • Conduct detailed investigations of the water network to identify leakage and unaccounted-for consumption.
  • Utilise equipment to pinpoint leak locations and promote repairs, on both public and private grounds.
  • Support maintenance teams as required.
  • Perform step testing and Pressure Zero Testing of the water network.
  • Prepare detailed reports using data collection apps.
Who we’re looking for:
  • At least 2 years of water network experience.
  • Competent technician with experience or understanding of correlation, ground mic, quantification, and step testing.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a similar role.
  • Fully competent in utility tracing, noise logging, and asset surveying.
  • EUSR water hygiene card (desired).
  • Ability to work across Scotland (required).
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required).
  • Water industry experience (desired).
  • Desire to learn and develop skills.
