Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a Leakage Supervisor to lead a team of Leakage Inspectors in the East of our region, delivering proactive and reactive leakage detection to reduce water loss and meet performance targets. You’ll oversee performance, training, and budget management while ensuring safe operation of the water network.

Qualifications

• Experience within the water industry and leakage management.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of water distribution networks and leakage detection techniques.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyse data and make informed operational decisions.
• Full UK driving licence.
• IOSH Managing Safely.
• Street Works Supervisor qualification.
• ILM Level 3 (or equivalent leadership qualification).
• Relevant water industry qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop Leakage Inspectors, including performance management, training and resource planning.
• Deliver leakage reduction targets through effective management of leakage detection and repair activities.
• Analyse network performance data to identify trends, leakage hotspots and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and company procedures.
• Manage contractors and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor operational budgets and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support emergency response and major incident management activities.
