Job summary

Hydrosave UK Ltd in Ayr is seeking a Skilled Leak Detection Technician to identify and reduce water loss across the network. This hands-on, field-based role involves pinpointing leaks, quantifying leakage, and validating findings, with an emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leakage detection within the water industry.
• Strong practical skills with leak detection equipment and digital tools.
• Full UK driving licence and NRSWA accreditation.
• Experience in field-based utility or water network roles.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out leakage detection and advanced survey work using specialist equipment.
• Plan and execute efficient leakage survey campaigns in line with the Leakage Operating Model.
• Conduct quantifications and dry hole attendance to verify leakage findings.
• Pinpoint complex leaks with technical knowledge and deductive thinking.
• Complete work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and standards.
• Deliver first-class customer service with a Right First-Time approach.
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain safe working practices on site.
