About The Role: We're seeking a skilled Leading Hand / Supervisor to join a quality-focused concrete construction team in Christchurch. You will lead teams, interpret plans, and deliver high-standard formwork and carpentry across commercial projects. Ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys a close-knit crew. Confident site management skills are essential.

Wages: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Location: Christchurch

What You Will Be Doing:

• Leading small site teams and delegating tasks
• Reading and interpreting construction plans
• Installing formwork (steel, plastic, timber)
• Carpentry including framing and general construction
• Addressing onsite challenges proactively
• Maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards

What We Require:

• Leadership and supervisory experience
• Skilled with hand and power tools
• Knowledge of formwork systems
• Full Class 1 driver’s license and own transport
• Ability to read plans
• Good physical fitness and safety mindset
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe (we can assist)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
