Duties

Inductions

  • Support recruitment, sign-up, induction, and initial assessments of learners.
  • Assist recruiters with apprentice interviews when necessary.

Coaching, teaching, and supporting End Point Assessments

  • Deliver engaging training and assessment methods.
  • Develop learning plans with employers and apprentices.
  • Contribute to formative assessments to meet learners' and employers' needs.
  • Support learners in mock assessments and maintain relevant documentation.
  • Monitor progress on qualifications per the Standards.
  • Organise and facilitate workshops with relevant teams.
  • Manage a caseload of 40-45 learners, excluding certain groups.

Support, Sessions, and Reviews

  • Ensure a safe learning environment and promote British values.
  • Identify and support learners with additional needs.
  • Assist learners in enhancing soft skills and developing maths and English skills.
  • Conduct progress reviews, set SMART targets, and liaise with support functions.

Administration

  • Handle administrative tasks related to delivery and marketing.
  • Maintain records of learner attendance and success.
  • Manage content on LMS and participate in proposal developments.
  • Support recruitment and promotional events.

Supporting Functional Skills

  • Support learners with Functional Skills, including exam preparation.

Continuous Professional Development

  • Engage in personal development activities and obtain relevant teaching or IQA qualifications.

General Responsibilities

  • Identify personal and professional development needs.
  • Participate in appraisals and adhere to health, safety, safeguarding, and equality policies.
  • Maintain data protection and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Follow safeguarding protocols.
  • Collaborate with FS tutors and monitor FS progress.
  • Ensure timely sign-ups, inductions, and visits.
  • Work according to ESFA regulations, including timely interventions and maintaining attendance and retention.
  • Contribute ideas for innovation and quality improvement.
  • Utilise free CPD courses and promote work/life balance with flexible working options.
