At the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust, we are on an ambitious journey to transform leadership through our Centre of Excellence for Leadership and Culture (CELC) - our very own in-house leadership development programme, proudly recognised by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an exceptional Leadership and Culture Trainer to join our multi-award winning Organisational Development and Talent Management (OD&TM) team. Our mission at LAS is to become an increasingly inclusive, well-led and highly skilled organisation people are proud to work for.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver inspiring, interactive leadership development programmes across the organisation
  • Attend review meetings
  • Conduct skills scans
  • Manage the onboarding of the CELC programme
  • Marking of assignments
  • Quality checking of evidence
  • Undertake progress reviews
  • Ensuring additional learning hours are being undertaken
  • Action learning sets facilitation
  • Advising, coaching and providing pastoral care
  • Logging and managing the Quality Improvement elements
  • Enrolling and prepping participants for their End Point
About us

Our vision is to deliver outstanding emergency and urgent care whenever and wherever needed for everyone in London, 24/7, 365 days a year. Our strategy 2023-2028 outlines how we plan to achieve this, and is centred upon three missions focused on:

  • Our care - delivering outstanding emergency and urgent care whenever and wherever needed.
  • Our organisation - being an increasingly inclusive, well-led and highly skilled organisation people are proud to work for.
  • Our London - using our unique pan-London position to contribute to improving the health of the capital.

  • Professional (CIPD) L&D qualification or equivalent

Experience

  • Experience of planning, designing and delivering a variety of learning and development interventions
  • Experience of using blended learning to maximise resources cost effectively
  • Experience of working in an L&D role

Knowledge and Skills

  • Design and delivery of learning and development interventions
  • Demonstrable experience of understanding the audience and engaging colleagues across all levels
  • Ability to interpret the feedback of learning programmes in order to determine effectiveness and relevance of content
  • Proficient in the use of PowerPoint and preparing high quality presentations and delivery notes
