Leadership and Management Development Specialist (Ref:0021ZC)

It's an exciting time to join us, as we reshape our team to align our work with the 10 year workforce plan and new organisational strategy. You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering our new Leadership and Management Development strategy and approach to build confident and capable managers and leaders who can bring to life our culture and values, drive organisational success and positive client outcomes.

Main duties of the job

In this role you will be developing and delivering a range of blended learning interventions, including workshops, master classes, webinars and coaching to support the development of confident and capable leaders. You will be working closely with key stakeholders and other members of Organisational Development and wider People Directorate to create tools and support processes that enable our leaders and managers to be effective in their roles and support wider career development and employee engagement. Other priorities include:

  • Collaborating with external partners and experts to bring innovative practices and resources into the organisation, including budget and contract management
  • Developing tools and approaches to enable managers and leaders to support workforce development and engagement, covering activities such as supervision, observation, development conversations and appraisal
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for leadership and management development conversations and activities
  • Reporting on return on investment and learner engagement and outcomes

WithYou are recruiting for an established Leadership and Management Development Specialist, to join our People, Inclusion and Organisational Development directorate. We're looking to hear from experienced, collaborative individuals, with a tangible passion for learning and development and the ability to ensure that our leaders and managers are confident and capable in their roles.

You will be a key part of our Organisational Development senior leadership team, contributing to strategic decision-making and organisational direction. This is a new role for WithYou, working on a permanent, full time basis. You will work from home, with frequent national travel and overnight stays, as required. The salary for this position is £42,000 - £50,000 per annum subject to experience.

Qualifications
  • A relevant degree or significant relevant experience in a similar role focused on leadership and management
  • A coaching qualification and a track record of coaching mid-level and senior managers with measurable outcomes
Experience
  • We'd be excited to see evidence of the following in your application:
  • Significant Experience of delivering leadership development sessions and workshops up to and including senior audiences
  • Significant experience in designing and implementing a range of leadership interventions and programmes with demonstrable positive outcomes
  • Experience of creating and delivering management / leadership strategy
