Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Workshop Chargehand to oversee the workshop team in Padworth. The role involves managing the daily workload, conducting inspections, and ensuring safety compliance within the workshop.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a Mechanical Fitter or HGV Technician and possess an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification. Attractive salary package includes overtime, bonuses, and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/HGV Technician.
• Awareness of health and safety requirements.
• Hold a HGV driving licence (Preferred but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist Technician team within the workshop.
• Conduct weekly/monthly R&A inspections.
• Manage workshop's daily workload.
• Carry out HGV MOT inspections and preparations.
