Job summary
Aston Martin Formula One Team in Silverstone seeks a Senior Model Design Engineer to lead wind tunnel model development from concept to build-ready solutions. You will work across Aerodynamics, Model Design, and Manufacturing to tackle complex challenges, improve accuracy, and drive testing readiness for high-performance F1 programs.

Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in wind tunnel model design.
- Proven ability to lead complex design projects in a fast-paced F1 environment.
- Strong CAD skills and tolerance/assembly understanding.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on wind tunnel model projects from surface development to test-ready delivery.
- Develop and review advanced 3D CAD models, considering loads, tolerances and manufacturability.
- Own complex design and non-conformance issues, driving investigations to resolution.
- Direct development of multiple Model Part Generators for consistency.
- Interpret FIA Restricted Wind Tunnel Testing requirements and approve work packages.
- Mentor teammates and represent Model Design in cross-functional discussions.
