Job Description

Position is located in Honey Brook

We are seeking experienced Lead Welders to work at a facility in Honey Brook, PA, for the remainder of the year (possibly longer). Both day and night shifts are available, with schedules from Monday to Thursday, 6am-4pm and 4pm-2am. The pay rate is $26-36 per hour with a 10% differential.

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated safety awareness and training in a construction/manufacturing environment
  • Safe operation of all welding and fabrication equipment
  • Ability to read measuring devices and perform mathematical calculations
  • Follow verbal and written instructions such as work orders or drawings
  • Daily use of grinders, torches, plasma cutters, overhead cranes, rigging, and forklifts
  • Perform x-ray quality welds that are code/customer compliant
  • Read, interpret, and communicate WPS, QC plans, work instructions, blueprints, ASME code, and AWS weld symbols
  • Accurately layout and fit products as directed by drawings or process/router sheets
  • Create fixtures to safely hold parts during welding, prepping, or cutting
  • Perform basic NDE procedures (LPT and VT) as needed
Experience:
  • Understanding of tolerances and general quality control principles and applications
  • Knowledge of welding principles, applications, and methods including but not limited to: SAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW
  • 5+ years of welding/fitting experience, preferably in ASME Code pressure vessels
  • Experience welding in multiple processes and positions as required
  • Ability to communicate clearly about responsibilities and timelines
