Job summary

Petrolink is seeking a Lead Web Developer to architect and scale high-performance web applications and platform services. You will drive technical direction with Product, Architecture, and Operations, focusing on real-time data workflows and scalable systems.

You will mentor a distributed engineering team, own delivery timelines, and shape CI/CD practices in an Agile/DevOps environment. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a passion for data management in Oil & Gas.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with full-stack expertise.
• Proven expertise in Angular and/or React frontend development.
• Strong backend experience with Node.js or similar.
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with Agile development and DevOps practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication for distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and design of scalable, high-availability web platforms and services.
• Lead design discussions, perform architectural reviews, and make key technical decisions.
• Define and enforce engineering standards and best practices.
• Drive adoption of modern architectures, including microservices and event-driven systems.
• Design and build web applications using Angular/React and Node.js backends.
