Job summary

Royal London seeks an expertly skilled Lead Web Application Developer to take a lead role in building a new, state-of-the-art investments platform for customers and business users.

You will be an expert in enterprise web app development using Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS/SCSS, with strong focus on state management, security, API integration and modern deployment pipelines. The role also demands leadership, mentoring and agile practices to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Expert in enterprise Web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS.
• Strong experience with state management patterns and libraries.
• Security-focused with authentication and authorization best practices.
• Experience integrating API services including GraphQL and REST.
• Experience with build pipelines, cloud hosting, and micro-frontends.
• Experience in testing, including left-most automated testing, and SDLC.
• Leadership experience as a development lead and mentor.

About the role

• Expert in enterprise Web applications development with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS.
• Expert in state management patterns and libraries.
• Expert in web application security best practices, authentication and authorization.
• Expert in API service integration including GraphQL and REST.
• Experienced in web applications build pipelines, cloud hosting, deployment strategies including micro-frontends.
• Experienced in web application testing and left-most automated testing.
• Experienced in agile development practices and the full software development lifecycle.
• An experienced development lead and mentor.
• Thrives under little to no supervision.
• Continuously developing new skills, driving best practice and emerging technology adoption.
