Job Title: Lead Water Hygiene Supervisor.

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.

Salary / Benefits: £24k – £36k + Training + Benefits.

Our client is a successful and leading name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry. They are now seeking to take on a Lead Water Hygiene Supervisor to oversee their growing Midlands team. You will be overseeing and providing training to engineers on predominantly Commercial and High Security sites. You will be acting as first point of contact for clients, providing ongoing support and advice, ensuring work is carried out in line with agreed timeframe. Candidates will be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge and experience of L8 guidelines and where required will help undertake compliance tasks on site.

Qualifications

• Will have a background working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
• Experience working as a supervisor is essential.
• Will have extensive hands‑on experience carrying out L8 compliance duties.
• Extensive knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Able to communicate and manage time efficiently.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Managing, training, and motivating the company’s team of engineers.
• Visiting site, carrying out site assessments and ensuring work is being carried out in line with client specifications.
• Ensuring work is being carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Liaising with clients, discussing in detail any further work required on site, arranging accordingly.
• Producing detailed, site specific reports for clients and ensuring that onsite logbooks are completed upon completion of work.
• Acting as lead on site, dealing with any queries / issues from clients / colleagues.
• Carrying L8 compliance duties when required e.g., water sampling, temperature monitoring, showerhead descaling, CWST cleans and disinfections, TMV servicing and failsafe testing, flushing of little used outlets, cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
