Job summary
Tetra Tech Europe is seeking a Principal Wastewater Modeller to build a high-performing team for wastewater hydraulic modelling in Glasgow or Edinburgh. You will drive technical delivery across major UK frameworks, define catchment strategies, and ensure quality standards.
This role offers hybrid working with expected site visits for technical delivery and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and experience with tools like InfoWorks ICM, GIS, and Python.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in hydraulic modelling and delivery of catchment strategies.
- Ability to produce auditable modelling outputs maintaining strong quality.
- Experience managing forecasts and commercial risk.
- Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Ability to drive improvement using digital tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery across major UK frameworks.
- Define catchment strategies and ensure robust governance standards.
- Strengthen modelling assurance and influence investment decisions.
- Develop and mentor a capable modelling team.
- Support bids and proposals with water companies.
