Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team and deliver high-quality patient care across wards. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, ensuring safe, effective practices and strong communication with patients, families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and lead where required.
• Demonstrates leadership, critical analysis and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients.
• Maintain effective communications with patients and relatives and the team.
• Lead a ward team and supervise junior staff and students.
• Manage resources and maintain patient records and stock levels.
• Promote best practice and participate in audits and development plans.
