Job summary

inspiring vet care – Oundle, Peterborough, East of England, is seeking a Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon to lead clinical standards, governance and service delivery across our multi-site practice. You will mentor colleagues, oversee complex cases and work with the senior leadership team to drive continuous improvement in clinical quality, outcomes and client experience.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS with significant experience in small or mixed animal practice.
• Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, and supporting veterinary colleagues.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience contributing to or leading clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ability to manage clinical complaints and provide professional guidance in complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical standards, governance, and delivery of outstanding patient and client care.
• Provide clinical leadership to the veterinary team, oversee complex cases, and offer guidance within the practice.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement in clinical quality and outcomes.
