We are searching for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon with ideally at least 5 years’ UK small animal experience (or UK equivalent).
The veterinary practice is purpose-built, divided into 3 floors, very modern, with lots of natural light and a fantastic staff room. It offers a full range of veterinary services and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including separate dog and cat wards, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and K laser. We seek a clinically strong Veterinary Surgeon with leadership experience, strong medical and surgical skills. Candidates with special interests or certificate holders (e.g., Cardiology, Ophthalmology) will be considered. The role may suit someone considering becoming a Branch Partner.
This role involves 40 hours a week, including weekend shifts (1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 weekends). It offers a 4-day workweek, providing a great work/life balance.
Location: The New Cross veterinary practice is in South East London, 4.5 miles from Charing Cross, accessible via two railway stations and the London overground.
Salary and Benefits: The package includes a competitive salary, accommodation allowance, a car or allowance, generous CPD allowance with 3 days paid leave, in-house training allowance, and coverage of VDS, RCVS, BVA fees.
