  • Earn up to £75,000 per annum DOE with a generous benefits package, and be part of a close knit, passionate team in one of the UK's most picturesque towns.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven Veterinary Surgeon to take the lead at a thriving small animal practice in the beautiful spa town of Cheltenham. Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, this well established, independent clinic has recently relocated to stunning new premises just off Bath Road—Cheltenham’s vibrant hub filled with boutiques, restaurants, and cafés—making it an ideal location for work-life balance!

From lap spays and a dedicated dental theatre to an advanced imaging suite, spacious wards, in-house lab, and diagnostic equipment—this is a space designed to let clinical excellence flourish. You’ll be joining a knowledgeable team of five vets, including certificate holders in surgery and professionals with specialist interests in cardiology and ophthalmology. The nursing team is equally impressive, with a Head RVN holding a surgical certificate and a proactive group of qualified nurses, SVNs, and client care staff.

As Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of the clinic. You'll provide clinical leadership, guiding the veterinary team to deliver gold-standard care, while supporting the Practice Manager to optimise commercial performance. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to drive a progressive, forward-thinking clinical culture.
