Job summary

CVS Group UK’s Severn Edge Vets Madeley in Shropshire is seeking a Team Lead Veterinary Nurse for a 12-month fixed term contract at 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, including 1 in 4 Saturdays. Salary £30,000-£34,000 depending on experience, with modern facilities and a supportive team.

You will lead the nursing team, oversee clinical care, run clinics, and contribute to continuous improvement and staff development within a first opinion small animal practice.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
• Leadership experience in a team setting preferred.
• Strong communication skills with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular check-ins and 1-2-1s with nursing team.
• Deliver training and mentorship for junior staff.
• Complete clinical audit checks.
• Run nursing clinics and provide inpatient care.
