Working for a consultancy that operates across the Southern region, supporting developers and residents in town planning application permits.
Location: Worthing
Salary: -£40,000 basic
Hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Role:
The Resolute Group is partnering with a national consultancy. The project team needs support in processing new planning applications, working with local authorities, contractors, and homeowners. The role involves coordinating a small team to ensure correct completion of planning documentation and assisting where needed.
Managing a team of administrators, this position combines people management and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities include updating clients on delays, following up with stakeholders, and maintaining reports on ongoing projects.
Understanding the planning application process and stakeholder involvement is essential. Building strong relationships, clear communication, and proactive issue resolution are key.
The key element is understanding street works and utility permits or the planning application process. Experience in coordinating permits for utilities, civil engineering schemes, street works, fibre networks, or similar is preferred.
The role is based in Worthing, West Sussex, with a 3-day in-office and 2-day remote work schedule. Applicants should reside in the local region.
