Job summary

Bank of America in Bromley is seeking a hands-on Lead UI Developer to own the React/TypeScript codebase for the Single Dealer Platform, delivering low-latency, real-time trading interfaces used by Sales, Trading and institutional clients.

You'll drive front-end architecture, implement RxJS reactive patterns, ensure accessibility, and collaborate with product, UX, pricing and backend teams to ship performant, resilient interfaces for live market data and RFQ workflows.

Qualifications

3+ years in a senior/lead UI role building web apps with TypeScript/React.
Experience with high-performance bidirectional data streaming (WebSockets/SSE/RTC).
Strong RxJS and reactive architecture in production.
Experience with real-time UIs and low-latency rendering.

Responsibilities

Lead UI roadmap and coding standards for the SDP.
Own front end architecture (React + TypeScript + RxJS) and data flow for live market data.
Design modular, accessible components and design system primitives (WCAG 2.1 AA+).
Drive performance improvements and virtualization for large grids.
Enforce automated testing and CI/CD with quality gates.
Collaborate with product, UX, pricing, and server-side teams.
