Job summary

Bank of America in Bromley seeks a Lead UI Developer to own the React/TypeScript frontend of the Single Dealer Platform, delivering low-latency, real-time market data UIs for Sales, Trading and institutional clients.

You will drive frontend architecture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement robust testing, security & accessibility practices while scaling the design system.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a senior/lead role building web applications with modern frontend tech.
• Experience with real-time data streaming and low-latency UI design.
• Strong RxJS and reactive architecture in production systems.
• Knowledge of security, accessibility, and testing practices for front-end apps.
• Ability to drive consensus across engineering, product, and trading desks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UI roadmap, architecture decisions, coding standards, and code reviews for the SDP.
• Own the front end architecture (React + TypeScript + RxJS) and data-flow design for live market data.
• Collaborate with product, UX, pricing, and server-side teams to ship performant interfaces.
• Enforce automated testing and CI/CD with quality gates across the frontend stack.
• Instrument analytics, logging, and front-end observability to improve reliability.
