Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Traffic Order Specialist to lead complex TRO projects and provide expert guidance to clients across the UK, including London.

You will mentor junior colleagues, manage budgets and schedules, draft high-quality orders, stay up to date with traffic and parking legislation, and help shape parking and kerbside solutions.

This role combines technical delivery with client engagement in a collaborative, dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) in consultancy or local authority settings.
• Strong knowledge of traffic and parking legislation.
• Experience with London schemes or complex urban environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to time, budget, and quality.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on complex traffic order, parking, and traffic management matters.
• Draft TROs and related documentation for diverse schemes across the UK.
• Review outputs for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead multiple projects, manage budgets and resources.
• Support bids, proposals, and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior team members and deliver client training where required.
• Maintain project records and ensure QA procedures.
