Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)

We're seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a balanced mix of home working and onsite presence for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs and specifications for complex signalised junctions and crossings
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans
• Develop complex MOVA Designs and Datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards like TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Validate MOVA systems for junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Experience in designing signalised junctions and crossings, seeking advancement to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with a fresh perspective on traffic signal design solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
