Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)

We are looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence, suitable for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

What you’ll do: Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, adhering to approved procedures, including technical specifications
• Provide technical oversight on new product or service ideas and develop plans for new designs
• Prepare complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets
• Apply knowledge of standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Perform MOVA Validations on complex junctions and roundabouts

Who you are:

The ideal candidate has experience designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings and is looking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role, bringing fresh perspectives to existing solutions within the Traffic Signal Design industry.

Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer Key Requirements:

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN software
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Understanding of MOVA Tools, Datasets, and Linking
• Familiarity with LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
