Job summary

Plexus Resource Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Trading Support Engineer to assist customers in integrating with our trading platform and to resolve live trading issues. You will be the first point of contact for technical inquiries and work closely with engineering to diagnose and fix problems in a fast-paced environment.

This hands-on role offers an opportunity to shape and grow the support function while ensuring robust, reliable service for institutional clients in live markets.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years' experience in technical trading support, application support or solutions engineering.
• Experience supporting traders at an exchange, trading platform, market maker or bank trading desk.
• Strong understanding of APIs, trading systems and urgency of live-market issues.
• Ability to read code and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Comfortable using AI tools and agents to investigate problems.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers needing technical help, from API connections to live trading issues.
• Collaborate with engineering to investigate problems and resolve incidents.
• Proactively communicate with customers and keep them informed throughout resolution.
• Help improve the trading experience by contributing to the support function's growth.

Plexus is partnered with a financial technology company building trading infrastructure for institutional clients. They are looking for a Senior Trading Support Engineer to help customers integrate with their platform and resolve technical issues in a live trading environment.

You’ll be the first point of contact when customers need technical help, from connecting through APIs to resolving issues affecting live trading. Working closely with engineering, you’ll investigate problems, keep customers informed and help improve the trading experience.

This is a hands‑on individual contributor role with scope to shape and grow the support function.

Requirements:

• Around 5–7 years’ experience in technical trading support, application support or solutions engineering.


• Experience supporting traders at an exchange, trading platform, market maker or bank trading desk.


• Strong understanding of APIs, trading systems and the urgency of live‑market issues.


• Ability to read code and explain technical concepts clearly.


• Comfortable using AI tools and agents to investigate problems.


• A proactive, personable approach and confidence in taking ownership.

Crypto experience and basic coding skills, particularly Python, are a bonus.
