MBDA UK in Stevenage is seeking a Technical Lead for Power Electronics and Firing Units. The role leads a team of engineers from feasibility through production, delivering high-integrity electronic sub-systems while meeting quality, cost and schedule targets.
The position offers hybrid working (typically 3 days on site) and a relocation package where possible. Security clearance BPSS is required post-offer, with eligibility restrictions.

Salary: Up to £52,500 depending on experience
Location: Stevenage (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typically, 3 days per week on site. Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working.
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

As a Technical Lead, you’ll play an integral part in delivering the design definition of electronic sub-systems in one of two areas:
You’ll use your experience to lead a team of engineers deployed to the project and work with other departments as required (e.g. mechanical design, manufacturing etc.). Your role will cover leading activities from early feasibility and technology assessments through to detailed design, qualification, certification and supporting transition to production. You will operate in all stages of the product lifecycle, ensuring products meet quality, cost and schedule targets by working closely with wide ranging stakeholders as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
