Lead Addiction Therapist – Liberty House, Luton
40 Hours per week – 5 days per week on a rota, including weekends
Salary: £31,500 - £32,500 per annum

Your Role as a Lead Therapist
- Lead & Support – Manage a team of therapists, providing supervision and ensuring high-quality care.
- Assess & Evaluate – Conduct client assessments, ensuring thorough and timely evaluations.
- Deliver Therapy – Facilitate group and one-on-one sessions tailored to individual client needs.
- Collaborate – Work with probation officers, healthcare professionals, and external partners.
- Counsel & Guide – Help clients understand their substance use and develop coping strategies.
- Monitor & Record – Maintain accurate records of client progress, attendance, and participation.
- Innovate & Improve – Develop and oversee therapeutic activities that support recovery.
- Ensure Compliance – Maintain high-quality standards and complete all required documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Professional – Level 4 (or higher) in Counselling or equivalent.
- Accreditation – Registered with BACP or NCPS.
- Relevant Experience – At least two years working directly with clients, including one year in a substance misuse setting.
- Therapeutic Expertise – Proven experience designing and delivering therapeutic programs.
- Leadership Skills – Ability to mentor and manage a team effectively.
- Communication & Collaboration – Strong interpersonal skills, working well with clients and external agencies.
- Organisational Strength – Skilled in planning, administration, and maintaining high standards of care.
- Risk Awareness – Knowledge of health and safety protocols and managing high-risk situations.
