Job summary

Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a permanent Band 7 Therapeutic Radiographer Team Leader at Queen's Hospital, Romford. You will provide clinical leadership, manage a team of radiographers and ensure safe, patient-centred delivery of radiotherapy services across IMRT/VMAT and IGRT.

The role requires HCPC registration, a BSc in Therapeutic Radiography and postgraduate leadership experience.

Qualifications

• BSc in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent formal qualification.
• HCPC registration as a therapy radiographer.
• Significant postgraduate experience with specialist training, knowledge and experience to master's level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership and support staff development, education and service improvement.
• Lead and support a team of radiographers to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred radiotherapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to maintain high clinical standards and drive service development and workforce growth.
• Promote best practice, give expert advice and disseminate knowledge across the profession and wider health care arena.
