Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is seeking a Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP) to join our perioperative team. The role requires HCPC registration and an ODP qualification, with post‑registration theatre experience and a passion for high standards in patient care.

You will prioritise patient safety, lead theatre activities, and work collaboratively with clinicians to deliver excellent care while upholding governance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Registered with HCPC and hold relevant ODP qualifications.
• Post-registration theatre experience in perioperative setting.
• Able to lead a theatre and coordinate junior staff.

Responsabilités

• Prioritise patient safety and encourage reporting of safety concerns.
• Promote a safe working environment following policies and procedures.
• Support governance activity in line with national standards.
• Lead care management, treating patients with dignity and compassion.
• Collaborate with clinicians to enhance patient care and service delivery.
• Take charge of a theatre, coordinating activities and leading junior practitioners.
