This strategic, hands-on role requires collaboration with customers and driving efficiency, quality and profitability across all test operations.

Qualifications

• HNC (or equivalent) in Electromechanical or Electronic Engineering.
• Strong experience in electronic manufacturing (SMT, through-hole, assembly, test).
• Proven track record of process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and suppliers.
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement optimised test strategies for new and existing customers.
• Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and future roadmaps.
• Create or enhance test specifications to meet evolving needs.
• Drive revenue by promoting and delivering test solution services.
• Lead improvements in test processes, cost efficiency, and performance.
• Evaluate and introduce new and emerging test technologies.
• Collaborate with the Production Test Manager to strengthen overall test capability.
• Manage, mentor, and develop test teams to meet business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
